Rachel Robbins began painting "Yule" on the Winter Solstice of 2022. [Since there was no full moon that evening, she took artistic liberties with some gold leaf, because the scene needed some zhuzh.] "Yule" is composed of alcohol ink, oil, acrylic, and activated charcoal on upcycled 35x35 danica canvas. Mysterious and haunting, this piece captures the essence of the longest night with an ethereal touch. While inspired by the holiday season, "Yule" is a painting suitable for year-round decor in the right home. If dark academia and all things witchy are your thing, this should belong to you.
