Meeting Your Guardian

We begin by discovering your story. In addition to painting, I’ve been a reader for almost 40 years. Your piece will be an amalgamation of symbols, memories, and energies that feel like you.

This is an intuitive, mythopoetic process. Please note that I do not paint literal facial likenesses or pre-named goddesses. Instead, I am painting a Soul Portrait: An evocative translation of your energy and spiritual guardians into form. Rather than a mirror of your physical features, it is a reflection of your essence in a magical space.

Expect creatures eager to guide and guard: birches, wildflowers, ivy; dragons, owls, rabbits, cats. Using acrylics, alcohol inks, gold leaf, mica, pastels, and charcoal, I weave these elements into an 18x24 mixed-media narrative. When finished, I include a written reflection on the symbols and any messages that came to me during the process. This is a sacred practice, and your reading is completely confidential.

No, this is a "Soul Portrait." It captures the energy and guardians surrounding you rather than a literal physical likeness. It is a narrative of your spirit.

This secures your materials and your dedicated time in my studio. It ensures that the ritual of painting can proceed without administrative pauses, keeping the energy of the work focused and clear.

Can I request a specific goddess?

I don’t paint pre-named deities. I hold space for the specific guardian meant for you to emerge. You provide the “seeds,” and I let the spirit of the piece grow naturally.

 

What is your return policy?

Because these portraits are deeply personal and created intuitively, all sales are final. Once the ritual begins, the materials and time are dedicated solely to you.

Shipping is included in the $595 price. Your artwork will be carefully packaged to arrive safely. Local pickup? Enjoy a $45 discount.

 

Can I see the work in progress?

Because this is a layered process, I typically work until the piece is “whole.” However, I am happy to send a soul-glimpse halfway through if requested.
