Waterways: It's Fun to Stay at the UMVA

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

My painting in this show is "Wolf Moon on Fox Island." It's a pretty little island on Popham Beach in Phippsburgh, ME. I don't recommend being there during a storm.

This is the event:

The pic above pretty much covers it, so I'll skip writing a long post. Waterways is an exhibit celebrating...well, water. And ways. For fans of Maine's coastline, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, ponds, swamps, and the undercelebrated puddles after a long summery rain. Oh, also, long summery rain...we've had plenty of that this season, haven't we? Please come see the work of local artists who share your love of nature and desire to keep our water clean, safe, lovely, and a safe habitat for all creatures great and small. If you can't make the reception, no worries! The show will be up through September, so if Route #1 traffic has got you down, there's plenty of time to see what should be a refreshing show.
